This mug takes its design from the Suzuki Durex livery, one of the most recognisable sponsor colour schemes from British motorcycle racing in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Durex was a commercial sponsor of Suzuki's UK endurance and short-circuit teams during that period, and the bold red and white scheme became closely tied to Suzuki's racing identity at the time.
