Order Processing & UK Delivery
Our made-to-order apparel is created just for you, so we need a little time to make sure everything is finished properly.
Please allow 5–10 working days for your order to be made and ready for dispatch. Most orders are dispatched well before this, but as all motorthreads items are made to order, this timeframe gives us room to cover busy periods, supplier delays, bank holidays, new product launches or unusually high order volumes. If your item is needed in a hurry, please message us before ordering and we’ll see what we can do. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
For UK deliveries, we use a Royal Mail Tracked service or another suitable tracked service, so your order can be followed once it leaves us. Your tracking number and tracking link will be added to the My Order section of the website once your order has been dispatched.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to Royal Mail, courier delays, weather, industrial action, busy periods or circumstances outside our control.
Please make sure your delivery address is correct before placing your order. We cannot be responsible for delays, failed deliveries or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete address details provided at checkout.
For Europe and the Rest of the World, shipping rates are calculated by weight and shown at checkout.
International Delivery & Regional Fulfilment
We’re pleased to offer international ordering on selected motorthreads products.
To make delivery smoother, we work with fulfilment partners in the EU and USA. Where possible, EU and USA orders may be produced and dispatched from within those regions, helping to reduce delivery times and reduce the chance of customs duties or handling fees that can apply when goods are shipped from overseas.
Please note that local taxes, VAT, sales tax, customs duties or handling fees may still apply depending on your location, the product ordered, the fulfilment route used and the rules of the destination country. These charges are set by the relevant authorities or carriers and are outside of our control.
Where charges do apply, they are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless clearly stated at checkout.
Customers are responsible for checking any local laws, import rules or restrictions before placing an order. If an order is delayed, returned, seized or destroyed by customs or local authorities due to import rules, unpaid charges, incorrect address details or customer refusal, motorthreads cannot be held responsible for any resulting loss, product cost, shipping cost or additional redelivery charge.
If an order is returned to us and a second delivery attempt is requested, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs.
Returns Policy
All motorthreads items are made to order, meaning your item is printed or produced after your order has been placed rather than being held as pre-made stock.
Because of this, we do not usually accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, wrong size ordered, or unwanted items.
Please check the product details, sizing information, colour choices and delivery address carefully before placing your order.
We will always help if your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us at info@motorthreads.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your item.
Please include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging where relevant.
Once we have reviewed the issue, we may offer a replacement, refund or another suitable solution depending on the circumstances.
If we ask you to return an item, it must be unworn, unused, unwashed and in its original condition, unless the issue relates to a fault.
Please do not return any item without contacting us first. Items sent back without prior agreement may not be accepted.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
